Dr Lucy Knight PhD, MCIPD
Lucy is a learning and development professional with experience supporting organisational effectiveness and capability building in complex, knowledge-led organisations. Her work spans learning strategy, organisational development, digital learning platforms, onboarding and induction, mentoring and professional capability frameworks.
Alongside strategic work, she brings hands-on expertise in learning technology, accessibility and user experience. She has led large-scale onboarding and induction redesigns, developed mentoring programmes with high engagement and supported blended and digital learning delivery across diverse and international contexts.
Lucy is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a trained Neurodiversity Champion, with a strong commitment to inclusive practice, ethical innovation and professional standards.
Kristina is a lecturer, researcher and consultant specialising in leadership development, game-based learning and organisational psychology. Her research explores identity, interactive narratives and the development of interpersonal and leadership capabilities through game based learning. Alongside her research, she teaches across several UK universities on subjects including leadership development, people analytics, human resource management and business strategy.
At Cognita Learning Lab, she designs research informed learning experiences and development programmes that help organisations strengthen leadership capability, team performance and organisational culture. Her work combines academic research with practical organisational development approaches to create learning that is both rigorous and applicable in real world contexts.
Before moving to academia, Kristina spent 10 years in senior HR roles, primarily in the NHS. She is a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a member of the Division of Occupational Psychology for the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). She is also a qualified executive and team coach, with extensive experience in 360-degree feedback facilitation and certified in psychometric assessment tools used in leadership and organisational development.
